Ministry Boards

Our church is governed by our congregation, headed by an elected moderator who is supported by four boards: Worship Ministry, Growth Ministry, Service Ministry, and Administration and Finance Ministry. Also serving the congregation are five standing committees: Endowment, Nominating, Personnel, Pastoral Relations, and Stewardship.

Board of Worship Ministry
The Board of Worship Ministry assists the pastor in the spiritual leadership of the church, arranging for lay worship assistants and sanctuary preparation. This includes the work of our Altar Guild, as well as our rosters of deacons, greeters, scripture readers and so forth.

Board of Growth Ministry
The Board of Growth Ministry oversees the planning and work of Christian education, including church school, confirmation, and youth and adult study programs.

Board or Service Ministry
The Board of Service Ministry enlists our members in various outreach programs, both on the community level and more widely, such as the annual One Great Hour of Sharing. The board also creates and supports events and programs that enhance our fellowship, such as our coffee hour, breakfasts, occasional suppers, and so on.

Board of Administration and Finance Ministry
The Board of Administration and Finance Ministry is responsible for the annual budget and monitoring income and expenses through the year, as well as arranging for office operations and the maintenance of the campus, including our Memorial Garden.
